Representatives from various fields will be participating in a panel discussion to share their ideas on global citizenship. They will share their thoughts about what it means to be a global citizen and how to act as a global citizen in their respective fields. Speakers will also be discussing why they think global citizenship education is necessary and the features of GCED they think to be most important and essential.

The first concurrent session is centered on the theme ‘Actors of GCED’. In the three sessions, three key actors that are implementing GCED – schools, teachers and youth – will be sharing their best practices of GCED. Participants will be able to gain practical insights from these case studies.
